Inara Sautter is a reader, writer, daughter of the True King, hobbit-hearted lover of all things Tolkien, and the eldest of 5 crazy homeschoolers who have been raised to appreciate stories in a way that seems to be forgotten by all but a few in our current society.
At the time you are reading this, chances are she is writing about light and stars and trees, and healing and family, or is fighting a fierce battle with the two hobbits inside her—one saying procrastinate, and the other telling her to let her pen and imagination lose her in an adventure. Or maybe she’s gone to visit some of her many dear friends—Atticus Finch, Gris and Enna, Sherlock Holmes, Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, Robin Hood, Bree and Mikkel, or perhaps the Pevensies. Either that, or she’s listening to music, siting outside somewhere, fan-girling over something or other with her sister, or singing loudly with the rest of her siblings while they do their chores, because her life appears to be an unscripted and very plagiarized musical.
Her goal is to shine the Light of Jesus into all the eyes that read her work, and she aims to create stories and worlds that are easy to lose yourself in and that come alive for the reader—just as her own favorite tales do for her own eager mind.
Who knows! Maybe one day she’ll write someone’s favorite book.
