This book was excellently written and full of mystery at every turn. Full of themes of Christ, family dynamics, and growing friendships.
A murder mystery set in Texas following the characters, Avery Elliot and FBI agent, Marc Wilkins. Both are christians and have strong desires to protect those they love. Avery lives on a ranch with her grandfather, a retired senator. Marc was raised by a single mother and no sign of his father...

An unexpected attraction sparks between them and they must learn how to navigate their rising interest through the investigation. Through which brings them closer to each other and to God.
