THE FOUNDERS

Aubrey Claire

Aubrey Claire has always had a love for stories since a young age and longs to create adventures with well crafted characters and deep themes. She crafts stories from her heart that ultimately honor and glorify God.

Some of her inspirations are Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, Charlotte Brontë, Nova McBee, Kara Swanson and many more whose incredible storytelling has shaped her own writing style. Her love for writing is only matched by her passion for reading, and she believes that both go hand in hand. She strives to transport her readers through beautiful stories that exemplify her heart for story.

When Aubrey is not creating new worlds and characters, you can often find her fantasizing over cute things and romanticizing all things or cozied up with a big fluffy blanket, a cup of tea, lost in the pages of another Jane Austen novel. She hopes that her words bring joy and hope to every reader's life and that each story exemplifies the love of Christ.

Adalyn E. Skains

Adalyn E. Skains is a writer, a reader, a dreamer and a beloved child of God. Ever since she was young she has loved stories and was amazed at the wonder filled art they painted in her life. Now as she gets older her dream is to write stories that inspire others, bring light and hope to a lost world and above all to glorify her Lord.

Adalyn loves crafting stories that showcase a masterful rollercoaster of emotion and adventures, transport readers into new worlds where they can forget about reality for a moment and display the incredible truths of Christ. When not lost in weaving together new ideas and worlds, you may most likely find her with her nose in a book gasping at the plot twists that await at every corner.

Learning from authors such as J.R.R Tolkien, C.S Lewis, Chuck Black, Jaye L. Knight, Andrew Peterson, and countless more, Adalyn strives to write stories that can be a beacon of light to a world lost in darkness, all for His Name and His Glory.

Who We Are

Book Lovers, Tea Drinkers, and Tolkien Readers

The Ink and Quill Society started because two sisters shared love for reading and writing.

With hearts full of creativity and love of all things fantasy, we dove into the world of literature to uncover hidden gems and share insights with fellow bookworms. And as Christians, it is sometimes hard to find good books that hold strong values, but with this society, we are able to build something unique.

Through our thoughtful blog posts and book reviews, we aim to connect readers with new voices and perspectives, enriching the literary society one post at a time. But above all else, we seek only to please and glorify our Savior.

A literary journey where we dive into the beauty of words and the impact of storytelling.
