Kara Lark is an artist, writer, and Christ-follower with a fervent imagination and a love of literature. She has been creating art and stories for most of her life, beginning with the picture books she wrote, illustrated, and stapled together at age five. Those (rather horrendous) picture books set her off on her artistic and storytelling journey, and to this day she loves anything that involves creativity.

Not only an aspiring writer but a critical reader as well, Kara loves books of all genres, but her favorites are those which intimately show the hearts of imperfect characters. As an imperfect character in the Grand Story herself, she strives for the same growth she loves to see in fictional characters, as she aims to glorify God through her passions.
